CLASS ROSTER (beginning of 2016 school year) CLICK HERE - If Y in PHYS column your physical has been turned in, if NOT you must have it to participate. If not turned uin by Day #2 there are consequences. There are currently 70 ladies signed up for class, recall 50-55 max will be in class
COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS -
REMINDER: each player will get 5 hours during the Fall semester if participating in Lady Indian Soccer. Opportunities throughout the summer and semester will be listed here. Community Service must have at least 3 different activities to count. The three activities must be pre approved by Coach Venable to count. Any service done will need the date, time, activity sponsor name and signature, and a description of service provided. A form will be posted before school starts here, but if you perform the service prior to posting be sure the above are provided to get credit.

Tuesday, July 26th - Bookmobile @ Common Ground, 604 E. Park from 1:00-2:00 pm
= 1 hour credit
Sunday, August 7th - The Avenue Church child/youth assistance, from 5:00-8:00 pm
= 3 hours credit
Tuesday, August 16th - Meals On Wheels volunteer food delivery.
Great opportunity to serve and contribute to our community. Contact Coach Venable if attending to get dress code and expectations. 10:30 am-12:30 = 2 hours credit
Thursday/Friday, August 18-19 - Teacher assistance in their classroom
in preparation for the coming school year. This can take place on any WISD campus = 2 hour max credit
BACK TO SCHOOL GET TOGETHER
Wednesday, August 17th at the Multi Purpose Dressing Facility
Bring your favorite movie a chair of blanket as we gather to celebrate school starting. Hot dogs and popcorn served, bring your own drink. Decorating of the field house will also be discussed and plans for the first few weeks of school wil be discussed. Hope to see you there!

2016 - 2017 School beginnings
DAY #1 (of the 2016-2017 school year), Monday, August 22
In class first day you will not be asked to suit out, BUT will be expected to have your 2016-2017 athletic physical either in hand or already turned into our training staff (Doc, Coach Robinson, or Coach Vega). Players not having turned this in by the end od day 1 will accumulate make up running equivalent to 2 miles of running per day missed.
Day #2, Tuesday, August 23rd
Players will be expected to suit out and participate in Day 1 of our first time SOCCER BOOT CAMP. Please show up fit and ready to begin our year. Fitness will be our priority the first two weeks in running on turf, on the track, body weight fitness, plyometrics/hills, and core and ab workouts. Boot Camp will be 9 total days. Tradition Never Graduates!
Day #5, Friday, August 25th CLASS ROSTERS will be set
Approximately 55 players max will be in the girls soccer class in the Fall
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th
1st BOOSTER CLUB / PARENT MEETING of the year
6:00 pm @ WNGA cafeteria to introduce the Booster Club and its officers. This will also be a night to explain program and Booster Club procedures. Coach Venable will also cover the yearly calendar and expectations for all players and parents.
Please make plans to attend if your daughter plans on playing soccer this school year!
